EMIS Air Specialist

Environmental Data Solutions Group, LLC (EDSG) is looking for an energetic team player with experience in Air Quality compliance and technical experience with database software implementation. EDSG is a growing company that specializes in EHS consulting, focusing specifically on the design and deployment of Environmental Management Information Systems (EMISs).

The primary focus of the EMIS Air Specialist is three-fold:

• Actively participate and/or lead technical configuration/deployment of new EMISs, particularly the Air Quality modules of such systems
• Participate in all projects from requirements analysis to system design and estimation
• Provide hands-on technical system support/training for existing clients and EMIS software deployments

The qualified candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent organization and communication skills with demonstrated willingness and desire to work technical issues to resolution. The ideal candidate will have experience/technical skills in some or all of the following areas:

• Air Quality compliance and emission estimation (mandatory)
• General EHS compliance issues
• Specific EHS compliance in 1 or more non-Air domains (e.g. water, waste, hazardous materials, hazard communication, industrial hygiene, safety, occupational health, emergency response)
• Configuration/deployment of EMIS commercial software applications:
  
  • OpsEnvironmental, EEH&S/Plantware, Enviance, Entropy
  • Wercs, Prosteward, Atrion, Dolphin
  • Others
• Configuration/deployment of other commercial software applications: document management, project management, ERP, web collaboration, etc.
• MS Office software: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, MS Project (mandatory)
• Business analysis and requirements definition
• Data analysis, cleansing, migration
• Development of custom reports using 3rd party reporting tools
• Development and delivery of system training materials
• Technical writing
  • Procedures/test plans
  • System design documentation
