Senior Geologist

Environmental Data Solutions Group, LLC (EDSG) is looking for a dynamic team member with a background in environmental geology to join our growing company.  EDSG is a fast growing company that specializes in Environmental Consulting, focusing specifically on Environmental Investigation and Remediation and the design and deployment of Environmental Management Information Systems (EMISs).

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 8 plus years of experience, ideally more, in consulting specializing in providing geology support and managing large complex environmental projects.  The ideal candidate will be a registered geologist in the State of California, self-starter, has great organizational skills, and an internal sense of responsibility and commitment to the team.   Please note that this position is only for California.  The ideal candidate will have the following experience and/or qualifications:

• Managing large scale and complex drilling projects within scope and schedule
• Successfully manage Site Investigation/Remediation projects in excess of $500K
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to prepare multi-faceted complex reports
• Installation of groundwater monitoring wells, borings, geoprobes and CPTs
• Ability to construct boring logs and geologic cross sections from field data
• Ability to assess field findings, develop additional scopes of work, and prepare proposals and cost estimates
• Groundwater Modeling Experience
• Direct Client Interaction and Client Management
• Regulatory Agency Oversight and Communication
• Interface with engineers to develop remediation systems
• Subcontractor Management and Oversight
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office Products
• Proficient and/or knowledgeable of GIS/Key Software
